Sail past 300 meter high sea cliffs and spectacular rock formations, Australian fur seal colonies, secluded beaches where dense eucalypt forests grow down to the shore, and overnight in iconic locations like Port Arthur, Wineglass Bay and Maria Island. Settle into your private cabin aboard a magnificent 62-foot ocean racer/cruiser, with its highly qualified and experienced crew, and prepare for an adventure you will cherish for a lifetime.

These charters usually take between three and seven-days, and like all our cruises, they can be customised to suit your requirements.  A three-day charter will focus on the Tasman Peninsular, typically overnighting in historic Port Arthur and the fabulous Fortescue Bay.  We sail past giant cliffs that plunge straight into the sea before passing Tasman Island, with its boisterous and inquisitive Australian fur seal colony.  A five-day trip will also include time at Maria Island National Park, with its fantastic scenic walks, historic buildings and abundant native wildlife.  A seven-day charter can also take in Freycinet Peninsular National Park, sailing past the beautiful Hazards Range and into iconic Wineglass Bay. 

Indulge in activities like swimming, snorkelling, kayaking, hiking or walking along the white sands of deserted beaches.   You won't believe the absolutely jaw-dropping scenery – all the while being catered for with the best of Tasmanian fare.  And you arrive at all these places on your own Maxi yacht! You can participate in sailing the 62-foot Sydney to Hobart race veteran if you like.  Take the helm, work the winches or learn about navigation; the experienced crew love to show you the ropes.  Watch out for whales, dolphins and seals, catch a big game fish, dive amongst the giant kelp forests and try your hand at catching abalone and crayfish to cook on our sun deck. Or sit back, relax and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of one of the most beautiful coastal regions in the world.

There are loads of great walks to do on the coast, from short strolls to multi-day trecks, and we can provide you with the best guides in the business.  Imagine, for example, meeting us at Triabunna, sailing to Fortescue Bay for the night, then heading off for a couple of days guided walk along the Three Capes track.  Meet up with us at Port Arthur for a hot shower, some fine food and wine and a comfortable bed before an exhilarating sail back to Hobart the next day!  If you would like to find out more about these options, please contact us.

Cancellation policy

If we cancel for whatever reason, we provide a full refund.  If you cancel for whatever reason more than 48 days prior to sailing, we provide a full refund.  If you cancel less than 48 days and more than 28 days prior to sailing, we retain a 20% deposit. If you cancel less than 28 days and more than 7 days  prior to sailing we retain 50% of the total cost.  If you cancel less than 7 days prior to sailing we retain 80% of the full amount (we will consider the circumstances of course).
