Hobart Yachts will not collect or monitor any personal information about an individual without their consent. The only personal information collected is that which is necessary for us to provide you with the best service and which you provide voluntarily. The information we collect may include contact details, dietary requirements, health or mobility information etc. pertinent to the charter you are on (old knee injury, food allergy, prone to sea sickness). Disclosure of this information will be on a need to know basis with the immediate crew and anybody servicing the charter (catering company, medical services if required). For example, none of the boat crew or service crew need to know your contact details but all of them need to know about your nut allergy.
Any personal information that we collect will only be used and disclosed for the purpose for which it has been provided to us. Your information will not be passed on to other individuals, companies or organisations that are not directly involved in the operation of our business. Other passengers will not be provided with your contact or any other details. You are of course free to exchange such information with passengers and crew if you wish.
Hobart Yachts is committed to keeping secure the data you provide to us and we will take all reasonable precautions to protect your personally identifiable information from loss, misuse or theft.
